2012 All New Sports Car Hybrid BMW M8

This is not the first issue regarding the possibility of producing sports car BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics hybrid concept based on the surface.
Now, through the German automotive magazine, Autozeitung reported that new sports car that will most likely take the name of the M8, which is more important, the plug-in hybrid that is used in this concept car will be more perfected.
If previously all use electric motors, the latest rumors suggest the production version will use the M8 5.0-liter V10 engine used E60 M5, plus two electric motors.
The second electric motor is mounted on the front and rear axle the same as seen on Vision EfficientDynamics concept. Both of these electric motors can contribute to 150hp. When combined with a V10 engine, expected to total energy M8 can reach 600-700hp.
The magazine also predicts the BMW M8 will be five inches longer than the concept version. And with two plus two seat configuration. If this project goes according to plan, this hybrid supercar expected to debut in 2012.
